:: ACTION! ::

One of our core values as a church is living out our UNRELENTING love for our community and the communities of the world through which we can be the heart, hands and feet of Jesus as we live out His call to preach the gospel and make disciples of all nations for God's glory. We live this out through the following exciting opportunities:

Matthew 28:18-20 “Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age'.”

:: Nations ::
We are called to go to the nations! At Live the Life Church we have answered this call and are currently working into local churches in Lesotho, Madagascar and India. Throughout the year we have various trips to these nations, check the calendar (using the menu option above) to see when the next one is. If you can’t go, but would like to get involved come to Neighbours & Nations at 5:30pm on Thursdays at the Gateway Cinema where we pray into these and other areas that God leads us to.

:: God Sessions ::
Ever wondered... Who is Jesus? What's wrong with the world? Why did Jesus have to die? But what about suffering and evolution? Through multi-media and discussion groups these are the types of burning questions we tackle during "God Sessions". We run this 4-week course throughout the year. Contact Cheryl at the church office (028 314 0785) to find out how you can get involved.

:: Reaching out to our children ::
Matthew 19:13 "Then little children were brought to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them and pray for them!"

At Live the Life Church we place high value on the children and youth, believing that they are a vital part of the church, not the future members. We value the teaching they receive and the potential input they may have to our meetings and growth.

KINGS TRIBE: This is the name of our children's ministry. Headed up by Sally and Christine, the children are led in worship and taught from God's Word every Sunday.

FRIDAY FRIENDZI: Grade 3-7’s meet every LAST Friday of the month from 6:30pm – 8pm

OKKIE SMUTS HOSTEL, STANFORD: A wonderful ministry opportunity recently opened up for Live The Life Church in Okkie Smuts Primary School, Stanford.

The school has a hostel with 58 children. Most of them are from underprivileged backgrounds - either financial, emotional or both. Live the Life Church has been given the opportunity to minister to this group every Tuesday evening from 6-7pm. Andries & Coia are leading this initiative, which consists mostly of small group activities. There is still a need for more small group facilitators. "Most of all the children need love, commitment and stability, as many of them lack this at home", says Andries, who has been involved with the hostel for several years.

IGNITION: ARE YOU IN HIGHSCHOOL? Then why not hook into a Life Group just for you?! Join our Friday night group with Rudi & Christine and Mike & Dani - for more info contact our church office.

HIGH SCHOOL: Wow! God has been opening major doors for us as a church at Hermanus High School. The prayer time at 2nd break every Wednesday is growing. Keen hearts are looking in to the "God Sessions" that we have been running and we've been getting awesome feedback from the times we do Assembly. We as a team trust that it won't stop here, that God is going to add to the rad things He's been doing! To find out more contact Michael through our church office.

:: Reaching out to our men and women ::

Mighty Warriors for men and Women's breakfasts are two ministries we have running throughout the year in Live The Life to train, equip and produce Godly men and women. They also serve as opportunities to point both men and women to Jesus Christ, the author of life and salvation.

:: Reaching out to our community ::
LUKHANYO FEEDING SCHEME:
Isaiah 58:6-7 "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter."
We are stirred as a church to get involved in our community, especially reaching out to the poor. A few years ago God opened a door for us at Lukhanyo Primary School in Zwelihle. Every Monday morning, during term time, a team of us arrive with huge steaming pots of samp & beans to feed the Grade 1's and 2's. It is an unforgettable experience and the best way imaginable to start your week. If you would like to get involved by either cooking or coming to the school please contact Cynthia through our church office.
