Ignition - 'Get with the Beat!' Our last night of a preaching series in Ignition for the guys to be more missional, but also launching our new series, which is 'Get With The Beat' - a series on the fruit of the Spirit, Hip Hop Style! Holiday Club - June/July 2008 holidays Ignition - 'Under Construction' Woman's Breakfast held on 21 June 2008. Hout Bay Church International HandOver - on 15 June 2008 Nathan & Diane Gernetzky took over Hout Bay Church International from Craig & Gaby McKellar. We were there to celebrate with them... Thank you celebration handover - on 8 June we celebrated a new season for both the Gernetzky's and the Adants as the Lord was ushering in a new season for two respective families and two churches! We had a wonderful time with Rigby & Sue Wallace who did the handover from Nathan & Diane Gernetzky to Michael & Lauren Adant. Nathan & Diane Gernetzky have gone to take over and lead the church in Hout Bay. We're so excited to see what the Lord has in store for us all as we partner with Hout Bay in their new season too!
Sunday dinners - started April 2008 after our evening service. Camp Rev - a camp for high school going youth held in January 2008 The heart and hands of a musician - a worship training time for local church music teams, held at LTL over the weekend of 28-29 March 2008. Easter Sunday - March 2008 - we had a sunrise prayer meeting on Sunday and some of the brave gathered in the cold and dark to pray! Then we had our meeting together in two places using technology as we had many guests and so had to use every bit of space we had in our two venues. Madagascar - March 2008 - Nathan and Dirk visited churches in Madagascar. Lesotho - February 2008 - Nathan and Michael E. were in Lesotho, visiting churches in the towns of Buthe Butha, Leribe, Maseru and Mafiteng. |
