| :: Eldership couple :: | Jesus said in Matthew 28:19: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit... and I am surely with you, to the very end of the age!" What is the leadership structure of Live The Life Church? (Acts 20:17-38; 1 Peter 5:1-4; Philippians 1:1) We believe in eldership-team led local churches. Working together with the deacons, they lead and care for the people within the local body. As an eldership team we, through relationships, relate to and are accountable with an Apostolic trans-local team called New Covenant Ministries International. We believe that the eldership set the doctrine of the church, direction of the church (giving vision) and give discipline in and to the church. This eldership team seeks to lead by example, modeling Christ to the rest of the body. We also believe in the priesthood of all believers. That's the A-team. All the believers of Live The Life Church functioning in their gifting and serving together, worshipping together and growing together. How do people get involved at Live The Life Church? We encourage you to carefully process the information you read and hear, ask questions and make an informed decision. We believe that becoming part of a local church is an important decision. We want each person in Live The Life Church adding value to the church and owning the full vision of the church and submitting to and being accountable to the leadership in Live The Life Church. This comes in time as we help you to discover your unique gifts and calling. In the meantime, if you are serious about becoming part of the church then we invite you to do our "Looking In Course" designed to help you get involved. What is NCMI? It is not essentially a denomination nor an organisation. Rather, NCMI is an apostolic team seeking to model a Biblical expression of apostolic care for the church, and vision for the world. Like Paul and Barnabus who ministered with gifted men on their teams into local churches, Tyrone & Nicole Daniel operate out of Adelaide, Australia as the team leaders. They are supported by an invited international team of leaders with recognised Ephesians 4 giftings. In addition to the International team, regional and national teams are also being established in different parts of the world to better serve the needs of the relating churches and also to release new ministry. What is NCMI's primary value? Without a doubt it would be "friendship before function". Jesus called His disciples "friends" and they did what He commanded them to do! Friendship is the womb that gives birth to function and extravagant service. Does NCMI have a mission statement? Yes. 'New Covenant Ministries International exists to disciple the nations through the planting of New Testament churches in every town, city and nation that God sends us to, either through prophetic word, or doors of opportunity that He opens to us.' How do Live the Life Church's leaders relate to the NCMI apostolic team? By local eldership developing common vision & values in the context of friendship. As that develops, so does the sense of partnership. A simple way to understand this partnership, is to see that without apostolic input, a local church will never become all that God intends it to be, and without the local church, the vision of discipling the nations is impossible for any apostolic team. How does Live the Life Church relate to other churches? By honouring Christ's church by not allowing criticism. By building relationships with local pastors. By attending other conferences designed to promote unity and equip the church for its task. By reading other literature. By regularly praying for the rest of the body of Christ. By joining platforms of common concern such as the anti-abortion platform. By receiving apostolic input from other key leaders and apostolic flows. We do, however, have a special, accountable relationship with NCMI. How does Live the Life Church get involved in reaching the nations? By praying for the NCMI apostolic team and the work that we are doing corporately in the world. By participating in outreaches locally and around the world. By taking the apostolic input seriously. By contributing from our finances to the apostolic team, and in so doing helping to underwrite the team's expenses, as well as helping some of the more needy churches in different parts of the world. By attending the various training and envisioning seminars and conferences that are held from time to time. Our main annual conference is open to all those that the local eldership teams endorse to attend. Each year these conferences prove to be life-changing for most of those attending. |
